New Arrivals

pony

The Mules are Molly & Murray (both 4 yrs old) and the Apaloosa pony is called Apple (6 yrs old).

Their feet were in a bad way and they were a little on the thin side, but nothing as bad as the donkeys, which were quite literally at deaths door.

The donkeys are Riley (chocolate colour - 3 yrs old) and Dingle (grey - 18months-2 yrs old and still dangling (an entire male!)).

All were rescued from Radlett in Hertfordshire, where they'd been badly neglected. Dingle was so emaciated he can't yet stand up on his own and you can see his bones protruding from behind.

Rileys' backbone had been rubbed raw and was protruding to the surface.

Both had lice, sores all over their bodies and their feet were in a bad way too.

Looks like the RSPCA discovered them just in time and we're hoping to be able to nurse them all back to health here at Lockwood."
